My wife has really wanted to find people she can hangout with discuss metaphysical things and witchy stuff and girly stuff.
She needs someone who is like a sister to her...for some reason every time she thinks she meets a friend who is a girl they eventually just walk all over her and treat her like garbage...plus hoping to find her a friend that is a feedee that can help root for her.
Munchies:
Bring her onto the site. Don't go shopping for friends for your wife - even if she's fine with you doing this.
All it will do is make a bad situation worse.

OP's heart seems like it's in the right place. Love that for him. But a lot of times, people will act one way with you and another way with someone else. I've both seen and experienced this.
You can introduce people until the cows come home. But it's up to the relevant parties to foster that connection. Plus, some people feel pressure to stay in a friendship they don't like because they don't want to disappoint the person that introduced them.
Again, no shade to OP, but it's super common.
